Harold Hougham, P.E., LEED BD&C

Harold joined R&A in 1988 and became a Principal in 1992. He has over 35 years of professional experience in management, engineering, design and construction.  Prior to joining the firm, Harold rounded out his engineering experience in large equipment sales and mechanical design-build contracting, both of which have served him well over the years.  With a degree in Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO, his passion has always been in the field of building mechanical and plumbing systems.  Applications have ranged from large multi-story commercial office buildings, to hospitals, medical office buildings, and local and public building projects.  Other areas of expertise include facility master planning, hydraulic chilled water/heating water system analysis, construction project management, and extensive management responsibilities involving projects associated with HCAI. Harold has been privileged to be an integral part of R&A leadership over many years. He has placed importance on building strong leadership, strong teams, and a highly supportive and respectful work environment for both employees and clients.
